Our reclamation business handles about 6.8 million tons of recovered paper annually through our 23 reclamation facilities, 12 domestic sales offices and an office in Shanghai, China. Smurfit-Stone is the leading U.S. exporter of recycled paper, shipping to more than 30 countries. While recovered paper collection makes up a majority of sales, we also manage aluminum cans and plastics. Smurfit-Stone’s 23 recycling plants, strategically located around the U.S., serve as one-stop recycling resources for communities, waste haulers, major retailers, and manufacturers. |
